Exercise & Pregnancy

  • Are you longing to feel fit, healthy & confident with your body shape following pregnancy?

  • Are you still experiencing postural discomfort in areas such as the lower back or hips following pregnancy?
  • Are you currently pregnant, needing safe guidance with your exercise through each trimester?

At Bodyrefine, client care is our priority. Be it during the pregnancy, or following the birth, the bodies of the mother and baby are ever changing. Exercise is therefore tailored to ensure that physical activity is safe, effective and specific to the stage of pregnancy that the mother and baby are at.

Whether you are a regular exerciser or a complete beginner, you can fully relax and be re-assured that exercise and pregnancy are perfectly compatible. Providing medical complications don't limit your ability to exercise, the rewards are endless and highly advantageous to both mother and child.

Using detailed information for home reading, and guidance during one to one training sessions, we strive to educate clients, helping them understand how their body changes during this time and the purpose of the specific exercises that we prescribe them. This helps motivate the client in preparation for the birth and on the road to regaining or further refining their pre-natal body shape.

Due to pre-natal adaptations in a woman’s body, post-natal postural misalignments are a common occurrence. The discomfort caused to women can be painful and long-lasting if not identified and correctly addressed.

At Bodyrefine, we have successfully assisted a number of women who have experienced difficulty in resuming exercise to regain their pre-natal figure due to postural complications. Using our bespoke KCA postural assessment approach combined with selective exercises and stretching techniques, we have rectified these problems, allowing these women to excel in their efforts to regain or further improve their fitness and wellbeing.
